Withdrawal of European Union's recognition of under Regulation (EC) No 391/2009
As a consequence of the 8th EU sanctions package against Russia pertaining to the Ukraine conflict, the European Union's recognition of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping under Regulation (EC) No 391/2009 was withdrawn with effect from 7 October 2022.
Consequently, RS can no longer be considered as a member of the EU RO MR Group.
